Document Checklist
When looking to apply for a loan, you should be prepared to bring the following documentation to get you loan approved sooner.
Proof of Income
- Two recent payslips (less than 30 days old) and latest group certificate (PAYG Summary)
- Evidence of savings/deposit (last 6 months of transactions)
- Copy of the front page of the contract
- The latest rental statement from the real estate agent for the investment property (if applicable)
- Copy of a latest credit card statement or car loan, interest-free loans etc
100 Points of Identification
- Driver’s licence, medicare card, utility bill (water rates, phone, power etc)
- Birth certificate (mandatory for first home buyer)
Construction Loans
- Written tender from the builder (fixed price quote). The tender must show the builders’ licence number.
- Supply building plans and specifications
Refinances
- Copy of the last 6 months of statements/transactions on all credit commitments (that are to be refinanced)
- Copy of last 3 months of statements on all credit cards (that are to be refinanced)
Self Employed Applicants
- Last 2 years of financial reports and income tax returns (personal and/or company)
- Last 2 years of notice of assessments
